Well, I guess we've been busy....or is it exhausted? Or Exhausted from being busy?!?! We've been movin' and shakin' just like usual! I'm going to combine the highlights of November on this post and then create one for December and I guess one for January after that.....hmmmm, let's check my memory!
November brought a few trips....let's start with a trip to visit our sweet friends The Thompson's down in Mobile, AL. We just went down for the weekend to catch up before they welcomed their newest addition Zachary! The boys loved playing with Henry and, of course, we loved just having an opportunity to hang with some of our dearest friends. Here are some pictures from the weekend!

Our next trip came as a surprise...as soon as we got home from Mobile, I headed to Knoxville for Dad's heart surgery. He had a defibrillator/pacemaker combo unit put in. It was a very quick process, like found out Friday to come in Monday....and it was a quick trip too....up Sunday night and back to Birmingham on Monday night. Dad did well with surgery and he has recovered nicely. Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers.....months ago!!
A few weeks later we celebrated Thanksgiving in Knoxville with my Dad's side of the family. We were hoping that Granny would be able to come down and join us, but unfortunately she was not feeling well and could not make the trip down. We enjoyed the day with Dad, Brenda, Jordan, Becca, Rachel, Jen and her family, ate way too much, played some games, you know, typical Thanksgiving day! We spent the rest of the weekend shopping, playing, watching football and experienced our first festival of trees Knoxville style! The boys had a great time playing, golfing, carousel riding...who knew the festival of trees had so much to offer two 3 year olds!! Here are some pictures from that trip...

Brad did start his new job this month and it's been absolutely wonderful so far! He's home for dinner, like a normal dinner time, and has only been out of town one night this month! We're so grateful for this opportunity and certainly feel blessed to be a full family of four again!! November was filled with trips and fun.....December brought Christmas and some other big events! More to come just around the corner.....I think:)
